Ba Duan Jin

Ba Duan Jin is a set of eight exercises.
The movements provide a comprehensive system of exercise for people of all ages.
Each exercise is performed eight times.

HOLDING UP THE SKY

1. HOLDING UP THE SKY
(Regulate the Internal Organs by Raising Both Hands to the Sky)
Relaxes the muscles  and improves blood circulation.
Improves the general condition of internal organs.

ARCHERY

2. ARCHERY
(Shoot the Eagle by Drawing the Bow to Each Side)

Improves blood circulation and  builds up energy.


SINGLE ARM LIFT

3. SINGLE ARM LIFT
(Regulate Spleen and Stomach by Raising Each Hand)
Improves  the digestive system and helps relieve stress.


LOOKING BACKWARD

4. LOOKING BACKWARD 
(Cow Looks at the Moon Behind)
Helps prevent hypertension.
Revitalizes the nervous system.

SHAKING HEAD SWAYING BUTTOCKS

5. SHAKING HEAD AND SWAYING BUTTOCKS  
(Cool Excess Heat by Lowering the Head and Swinging the Hips)

6. HOLDING THE TOES
(Strengthen the Kidney and waist by Bending Forward and Touching your Toes)
